What we Believe
The Foursquare Church believes that Jesus Christ is the Savior, Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, Healer, and soon-coming King.
We stand firm on the foundation set by Hebrews 13:8 which proclaims: "Jesus Christ the same , yesterday,today and forever.
Pastor Dewey L. Wilkerson Jr. came to Christ in 1984 at Jesus People Ministry Church International under the leadership of the late Bishop Isaiah Williams Jr. He served at Jesus People Ministry for 18 years where he received the call to minister in 1999 and was licensed. God lead Pastor Wilkerson to move to the Central Florida area in 2001 and start Destiny International Christian Center Church.
In 2004 Pastor Wilkerson received a second ministerial license from the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. Pastor Wilkerson is the Senior Pastor of Kissimmee Destiny Church of the Foursquare Gospel with 28 years of experience in ministry and a dual BS degree in Political Science & Secondary Education. Kissimmee Destiny is one of the fastest growing churches in the Central Florida area.
Pastor Valerie Wilkerson has a passion for children and families. Pastor Valerie Wilkerson has an earned Master of Science Degree in Education and has twenty-seven years of experience in the field of education as an administrator, trainer, consultant, and teacher.
Pastor Valerie Wilkerson has been called to empower women to fulfill their destiny. Pastor Valerie Wilkerson skillfully uses the ministry of music, along with the teaching and preaching of the word of God creating an environment for the Holy Spirit to reveal the plan and destiny of God to individuals.
